Quick Answer: How Do Crafting Stations Work?

Crafting in Graveyard Keeper 2 runs on a hierarchy of work stations — build the simple ones, use them to make the parts for the advanced ones. The three headline stations for any necromancy business are the Resurrection Lab (home of the Resurrection Table and Resurrection Device), the Jeweler's table (Zombie Collars), and the Laboratory in its two tiers (Alchemy, including Reanimation Liquid at tier II). Zombies can operate work stations themselves, which is what turns the hierarchy from a chore list into a production line.

Reanimation Liquid costs 1 per zombie. Early on, buy it from Gunter the Astrologer or the Alchemist; craft it at Laboratory II (2 red + 1 green + 4 blue runes) once your rune supply is steady.

Reanimation Liquid: Buy First, Craft Later

Every resurrection consumes exactly one Reanimation Liquid, so it is the true running cost of your workforce. Gunter at the Astrologer's Tower and the Alchemist both sell it, which covers your first several zombies comfortably. The Laboratory II recipe — 2 red, 1 green and 4 blue runes — becomes the economical route once you are raising zombies in batches, because the bottle price adds up fast when you are chasing the 50-resurrection Necromancer milestone.

Zombie Collars: The Three Tiers

A collar decides how many red skulls a zombie can use, and red skulls are perk slots — so the collar is the ceiling on how good any single worker can get. Collars can be swapped for a higher tier later, so an early Bronze is never wasted. The Jeweler starts at Bronze; Golden needs Jeweler tier II and Steel needs tier III.

Collars are upgradeable: start every zombie on Bronze and promote only your best corpses to Golden or Steel once the Faith economy supports it.
